Disbursements are third party costs Zettle will incur on behalf of our clients. These costs include fees charged by government departments to issue statutory certificates or searches. What searches and government services required will depend on whether a client is buying or selling, what type of property and what State & Territory the property is located in.
We break down searches into two types:
- Minimum required searches: These are searches required to be attached to the contract, generally incurred by a Vendors, or to complete settlement adjustment statements.
- Additional searches: Clients may consider obtaining these depending on the property location as well as their needs and purposes for the property.
Zettle will provide clients with a list of searches and estimated costs.
Zettle passes these disbursements on to clients, with no additional costs added.
Government Charges
Government Charges are fees typically associated with registration fees payable to the land titles office.
The charges will depend on the number and type of documents to be registered, such as discharge of mortgages, registration of new mortgages, transfer of title from the Vendor’s name to the Purchaser’s, etc.
Zettle passes these government charges directly to clients, with no additional costs added.
PEXA Fees
PEXA, the electronic settlement platform, charges standard fees which apply to all transactions, regardless of the conveyancers and lenders involved.
